About the Southwest Kickers

Welcome to the Southwest Kickers Soccer Club!

The Southwest Kickers Soccer Club (SKSC) is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization dedicated to offering youngsters and their families the opportunity to participate in soccer in a fun and rewarding environment.

The SKSC represents the Southwest region of Milwaukee County for the Milwaukee Kickers Soccer Club.  The general areas serviced are Franklin, Greendale, Greenfield, Hales Corners, and West Milwaukee.

We offer programs (recreational and select) for boys and girls from ages 4 through 18.  In addition to organized league play, we provide developmental and educational clinics to the players and their families.  With many training & learning opportunities, we offer one of the best values in youth sports.

As we are community-driven, our success is linked to the active involvement of volunteers and parents.  We'd welcome all interested parents to help make our club an even better one.

Our Coaching Philosophy

At the Southwest Kickers Soccer Club, we recognize our families entrust us with their children.  It is our desire that every child participating in our program to feel confident and have a sense of accomplishment.

Our coaches are committed to and focused on:

1.    The Love of the Game

  •  First and foremost, playing soccer should be fun.  One of goals of the Southwest Kickers Soccer Club is to provide a safe and positive environment during practices and games to foster a love for the game.

2.    Child and Player Development

  • Teaching the players the values of sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect (for rules, opponents, officials, teammates, and oneself)
  • An emphasis on the long-term development of strong soccer fundamentals (technical and tactical skills)

To achieve these goals, our coaches participate in certification and licensing courses along with continuing education to ensure quality.  Also, every coach is subject to a background check via the WYSA KidSafe program.
